Daily Breakdown by Age


4-5th & 6th-7th Grade Boys
4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

1 Hour – Skills and Drills; 1 Hour – Games

Skills and Drills will focus on:

  1. Ball Handling – drills to promote hand-eye coordination, speed, feel for the ball
  2. Shooting – focus on proper form, elbow in, knee flex, follow through
  3. Square to basket/triple threat position – catch and square with proper pivot foot established, triple threat position
  4. Spacing on the court – moving to get open, picking, helping out teammate
  5. Lay-ups- jumping off correct foot, consistency
  6. Defense – proper technique, footwork, body positioning, help-side defense
  7. Rebounding – boxing out, offensive rebounding technique
  8. School-based teams compete in one-hour refereed games.
  9. Games start on Week 2 after one one-hour team practices.

2nd – 3rd Grade Boys
2:00 – 4:00 p.m.

11am – 12:30pm

Boys Kindergarten – 11am-noon
Boys 1st – Noon-1pm
Girls K-1st – 1pm-2pm

Shoot around – 5 minutes
Huddle – 5 minutes
Movement, Passing, Shooting, Dribbling Drills, Defense – 25 minutes
Simulated Games – 25 minutes
